1. Introduction & scope
ChartMate, LLC (“ChartMate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about visitors to our marketing website at chartmate.io.
This notice does not cover the ChartMate portal at portal.chartmate.io. Information collected through the portal is governed by a separate privacy notice provided within that service and by your applicable customer agreement.
By using chartmate.io, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide, including:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- Reason for contacting us (e.g., sales inquiry vs. general question)
- The contents of your message
Information collected automatically
When you visit chartmate.io, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information about your visit, including:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from it
- Device type, operating system, and browser
- Pages you view and the time spent on each
- The site you came from (referring URL)
- Date and time of access
This information is collected via cookies and similar technologies described in the next section.
4. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:

6. Data retention
We retain contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter as a business record.
Analytics data collected through Google Analytics is retained according to GA4’s default retention setting in effect at the time of collection.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children’s privacy
chartmate.io is not directed to children under 13 (or under the equivalent age in jurisdictions where a higher minimum applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@chartmate.io and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Third-party links
chartmate.io may link to third-party websites that are not operated by ChartMate. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
10. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
This section provides additional disclosures required by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), for California residents.
Categories of personal information we collect
In the prior 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information about California residents through chartmate.io:

We do not collect categories of “sensitive personal information” as that term is defined under the CCPA through this site, and therefore there is no need to limit its use.
Sale and sharing
We have not sold personal information and have not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the prior 12 months.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA:
- Right to know. You can request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to access. You can request a copy of the personal information we have about you.
- Right to delete. You can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct. You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is therefore no opt-out mechanism for you to use.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. As stated above, we do not collect sensitive personal information through this site.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
To submit a request, email us at privacy@chartmate.io with the subject line “California Privacy Rights Request.” Please describe your request and provide enough information for us to verify your identity, such as the email address and name you used when contacting us.
We will respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request. We may extend this period by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, in which case we will notify you of the extension.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide signed written permission from you, and we may require you to verify your identity directly with us before we act on the agent’s request.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. If we make material changes, we will provide notice on this site for a reasonable period before the change takes effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
